Based on a tray used for serving in Kontra Coffee's Coffee House and the goal of aesthetics and functionality merging, we have developed small plates for small servings as buns and cakes. The plates had to be just big enough to serve cake and buns and small enough to have room for a cup of coffee and coffee pot. The plates have a tab, which makes it easy to lift the plate without touching the dining surface. The plate also has a raised profile that allows you to get your fingers under the plate, to make it easy to pick up the plate when serving and clearing it up. The plate is turned in mixed colors. To create a special expression and give each plate small variations.
